This is a special issue to announce the release of ZIO 1.0.0! The long awaited first official release is finally there.
More than 300 people contributed to this effort and a lot more users gave feedback as well. As you can see in the
release notes, binary compatibility will be preserved from now, with the exception of ZIO Test and ZIO Streams that may need a couple more releases to be fully stable.
The ecosystem is quickly updating, and there should be less surprises about using incompatible versions of libraries from now on.
To conclude this brief and special newsletter, check out this blog post from John De Goes:

Till next time 👋
