Every now and then, there’s a story that knocks you off balance. It arrives, unsuspecting, as a simple link, a headline, just enough to make you pause, just enough to make you click. Then it begins, unfolds its opening lines, and spins a dizzying story. This week’s first link is that sort of read. It’ll turn you upside down and inside out and leave you wondering how the hell these things happen. And then you’ll realize: they happen because so often the story goes untold. But not this time. This time we know. And what we do from here–well, that’s up to us to write. -Lucas
