Worthy: A Weekly Reset #023 - Reminders for the Holidays (and beyond) Part 3/5

December 22 · Issue #23 · View online
My dad is iconic for a lot of reasons (if you know Lance, you know ❤️). One of which is his many sayings and phrases. He’s a big fan of “Big deal. Who cares?!” as of late and I think those are words that would do us all good to consider.
His point: Don’t take things too seriously. Stop getting wound up about the small things. Live with intention and have some fun along the way.
Let’s not take ourselves too seriously this week, yeah? Would love to hear how you keep it light and sassy in the midst of stress and, sometimes, chaos that comes with the Holidays 😉
You are worthy!

How can we keep it light this week (and always)?
How can we take an interest in others first instead of waiting for someone to ask us a question or make the situation about ourselves? (Anyone? 🙋‍♀️)
Have fun this week! Walk in confidence of who you are, knowing you don’t need to prove anything to anyone. Take an interest in others first, keep it light and lean into laughter — what a gift!

We won’t have the perfect words for every interaction. This is where grace comes in! Strive to be your most true self while not taking yourself too seriously, giving the other an authentic connection. Lead with love!
“People really want to feel that connection. And the only way they’re going to feel that connection is if you do the work to remove the own veneer and the own barriers that you put in between you and other people.” — Mel Robbins
