Worthy: A Weekly Reset #014 - Anxiety / Depression

October 11 · Issue #14 · View online
Hello and Happy Sunday! ☀️
Week #2 on Anxiety and Depression. This week, we’ll hear four different perspectives on what isn’t helpful (from others and yourself) during moments of anxiety or depression, some do’s and don'ts when navigating conversations around anxiety/depression and consider how we can best love ourselves and others in this realm.
For such a heavy topic, I think you’ll find lightness in the words shared and encouragement in how we can normalize conversations that involve either anxiety or depression - and how we can engage in them, too!
You are worthy!

What isn’t helpful? From others? From yourself?
Stay the Course
All we can control in life are our thoughts and actions. How do we bring our best selves to the day?
Take a pulse. If you experience anxiety or depression, what are ways you can best support yourself during those experiences? When does your body feel it’s best? What kind of foods are you eating? Is exercise helpful? How can you take steps towards being your best self in spite of your experience with anxiety or depression? If you don’t experience anxiety or depression, what words are you using to support those you love who do? If you don’t know what’s helpful, ask! We’re all in this together and in order to make progress, we need to be on the same team 👇
