Hello! And Happy Sunday ☀️
First week on Anxiety and Depression and I 👏 AM 👏 PUMPED! Like so many of you, this topic is near and dear to my heart and I can’t wait to explore these areas of mental health together this month. Throughout October, we’ll hear from four different women who experience anxiety or depression (or, both!) and consider what it is, how we can journey through it and what’s helpful and what’s not.
This week: What is anxiety? Depression? What happens to one’s brain and body during anxiety / depression? What is it like to experience anxiety? What about depression?
I am so proud of the ways you lean in and stay curious; asking questions is how we grow! Keep fighting to consider yourself, the other and all the beauty life has to offer. You are worthy!

All we can control in life are our thoughts and actions. How do we bring our best selves to the day?
Spend time outside! Whether you experience anxiety or depression or don’t, being intentional about the amount of time you spend outside each day is insanely beneficial. I am committed to 45 minutes of outside activity (walking, a bike ride, time on the slopes) every day for the rest of the year. I’m 2.5 weeks in and I’ve already noticied a change in my mood and overall sense of purpose. You are worthy of spending time on yourself and getting your booty outside to soak up that fresh air and Vitamin D. Would love to hear the ways you’re making time outside a priority.
