This letter, like my last, is going out while I myself am away. But this time my trip is both scheduled and fun. It’s a family holiday that feels like a milestone in two ways: it’s the first we’ve taken in YEARS without having to pack nappies; and, coming before the final school term, it marks the last sprint towards my younger starting kindergarten. (No, those two milestones shouldn’t really go together, should they? What can I say. He was a toilet resister.)
Kindergarten looms on the horizon like the promised land. In my imagination, from then on, I will be in full control of my time (well, at least for four hours a day on weekdays, school holidays excepted… but full control! right?!) and able to do oh, so much. So I’ve been lapping up work-related links lately, in anticipation and, I admit, a little bit in delusion. Here are some of my favourites.
