Open season: Studio Miranda Issue #26

It’s practically September, and you know what that means – at least for those of us in the northern hemisphere. Knitting season is upon us. And just in time, I have a new pattern to share with you.

Wraparoche is a perfect introduction to two-colour brioche (with tutorials for the cast-on and cast-off techniques) and also a perfect stash-buster – it uses two 100g skeins of yarn in any weight. (The sample was made in Romulus, the worsted merino from Wolff & Schafe. Isn’t it gorgeous?) I found this to be perfect comfort knitting – it’s largely mindless and very rhythmic. For you, my lovely readers, there’s a 40% discount using the code WRAPANEWS. (That’s twice as much as any other discount I’m offering elsewhere. Because you’re twice as important.)
But enough about me – what else can I share today?
This is cool
Ultra violet
Interwoven ideas
The wardrobes of Westeros
This is useful
Get organised
Got something to offer?
And finally
I read a newsletter called Zen at Play, which is a wonderful name and a wonderful idea. The curator of this delightful letter has now started a bookshelf, helpfully collecting all the books you never knew you needed. I’m sorry.
Happy knitting!
Robynn
