Next up, it’s Bolton Wanderers at wherever they play now, kick off 3pm!

The Twist | Bolton (A) | Issue #19
This week, we find our heroes in red and white on the eve of making the relatively short - and incredibly convenient - trip to the other side of the Pennines as Middlebrook host Wearside at Porto Folio.
I’m acutely aware that this previous sentence would look like absolute gibberish if you’ve never played the old versions of Pro Evolution Soccer, and I’m not about to start explaining it to you. Buy a Playstation2, find a copy of Pro Evo 5 on eBay, and then we can talk. I’m waiting.
Where was I?
Oh yes, Bolton! I say it’s an incredibly convenient trip because you barely have to touch the brake pedal between the A19 until you get about 200m from the University of Bolton Stadium. You can do it in about 20 minutes give or take a couple of hours or so.
Its proximity, relatively large ground and relatively low home crowd take-up means that we have 5,500 tickets for this game and they were snapped up fairly quickly.
So look forward to blurry pictures of the away end sent off to banter accounts on Twitter with hand clap emojis and much patting on the back as, once again, the Sunderland Banter Train is made up of thousands of carriages and it is not stopping until the Promotion Station wings into view. Or something.
What tomorrow is, however, is an eminently winnable game. Bolton are languishing in 15th place despite a fairly positive start. When they visited us earlier in the season they gave it a right go but we were too good on the day. They have done very little to change my mind that it’ll be anything different tomorrow.
Especially as we have about 15 new wingers and they’ll ALL be playing tomorrow.
Well, maybe Patrick Roberts. And he’ll be on the bench. Possibly.
But, fear not if we don’t win, because the Government invested money into Bolton Wanderers this week, not sure why, so the UK taxpayer, ie me and you, ladies and gentlemen, now own a little bit of Bolton! Isn’t that great!
Enjoy the trip down tomorrow, let’s hope the journey back is even better.
Ha'way the lads!
