  • Did you know that Potter League For Animals has a sister shelter in Afghanistan? Joan Johnson Freese, President of the Board at Potter League, joined Ryan on What'sUpNewp Radio yesterday to chat all about NOWZAD and also give us details on two upcoming events/fundraisers.
  • Archaeologists from RIMAP and its partner, the Australian National Maritime Museum, will announce their 2018 research results for the study of the Newport Harbor transport fleet and search for Capt. Cook’s Endeavour from 5 pm to 6 pm today at Gurneys Newport Resort & Marina.
  • The City of Newport has announced that it will host recycling events on September 29th at Easton’s Beach, a combined effort to provide residents with the opportunity for hazardous waste disposal and recycling of of hard to recycle items.
