Good Morning,
The U.S. Naval War College is holding a remembrance ceremony to observe the 17th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 today at the Patriots Memorial.
The ceremony will honor those killed in the attacks and pay special tribute to the three NWC students and eight alumni killed in the Pentagon 17 years ago. The ceremony begins at noon at the facility.
The remembrance will include a wreath laying at the memorial and a bell-ringing ceremony conducted by the Newport-area chief petty officer selectees.
This event is for Naval War College students, faculty and staff.
