Good Morning,
Today is Bike to Work Day and here’s what’s happening in Newport: (All activities take place in front of City Hall)
  • 700-900 am: Bike Commuter Breakfast - refreshment provided by Empire Tea and Coffee, A-Market, Bagel Boys, and Stop & Shop.
  • 4:30 pm: Bike friendly progress announcements and Bike Friendly Business of the Year Award.Including a special announcement by partners Bike Newport, RITBA, Discover Newport, and the Newport County YMCA!
  • 4:45 pm: Celebratory 1.5-mile Community Ride Round Downtown Newport, escorted by Newport Police Department
Today is the final day the What'sUpNewp Crew will be broadcasting live from the Volvo Ocean Race Newport Stopover! Tune on in to AM 1540 WADK from 12 pm to 2 pm or stop on in and say hi to us at the Fort Adams Visitors Center.
