Good morning,
  • After nine months, 45,000 miles of offshore racing and 10 In-Port Races, the Volvo Ocean Race fleet is preparing to take the final start of the event at the Brunel In-Port Race this afternoon in The Hague.
  • Reminder: Newport’s fireworks are scheduled for 9:15 pm on Wednesday. Other local fireworks displays include Jamestown’s on Sunday, July 1st at 9 pm, North Kingstown’s on Tuesday, July 3rd at 9 pm, Portsmouth’s on Wednesday, July 4th at 9:30 pm, and South Kingstown’s on Wednesday, July 4th at 9:15 pm.
