  • Celebration: The Town of Middletown will host Founders Day 275 at Paradise Park and Second Beach today. The day includes food trucks, fireworks, live music, and more.
  • Fools Rules: The 41st Annual Fools’ Rules Regatta will be held today on the Town Beach, East Ferry in Jamestown.
  • Coaching: Just two more days and two more routes to catch the horses. Here are the drive routes and maps.
  • Beaches: On Friday, RIDOH recommended reopening Conimicut Point Beach in Warwick for swimming based on results from water samples that show bacteria levels within acceptable limits. RIDOH also recommended closing Sandy Point Beach in Portsmouth and Georgiaville Pond in Smithfield for swimming.
