  • To Do: Guests are invited to greet the Draken ship, the world’s largest viking ship, as it sails into port this afternoon at 3:30 pm. Captain Björn Ahlander and his crew will step ashore to welcome the crowd and introduce the Draken. This event is free and open to the public.
  • Stat: 400 - That’s the number of people who will participate in Wet Paint at Newport Art Museum this weekend, according to Event Chair Rupert Nesbitt.
  • Giving Back: Over 150 kids from across the state will participate in a triathlon this weekend at Fort Adams. The program, Race4Chase, was created in memory of Chase Kowalski, a student who was taken from the world in the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy in 2012.
