What's Up Newp Newsletter
Since we announced that we’d be rolling out a member program back in April, we’ve heard from hundreds of you (it’s been good, bad, and sometimes ugly).
With that overwhelming feedback, we’ve decided that moving forward we will only be sending out one email on a daily basis - WUN Morning Edition.
WUN Morning Edition is our hand-crafted and curated email newsletter that gets you up-to-speed on all that’s happening, new, and to do across Newport County and across Rhode Island each morning, exclusive to What'sUpNewp members.
That means if you want to continue to receive an email from us daily with the latest from us and on what’s happening, new and to do in Newport County and across Rhode Island, you should (and need to) become a member. (Reminder - This is why we need you to become a member and your help).
We may be in touch with members more than once a day, and subscribers from time to time, with Breaking News Alerts. Here we’ll email all of you with news and stories that we think you need to know about immediately.
Of course, the newsletter isn’t the only perk of being a member. You support what we’re doing, you’re part of a community, and you get some good perks.
Of course, if you don’t want to become a member. We encourage you to keep up with what we’re saying and doing by following us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to see what we’re up to and to visit daily.
We thank you for your attention, time and patience as we continue to work this out. Most importantly, we thank you for your readership, support, and feedback recently and over the last 6+ years. We think with this change, it will be smooth sailing (and a lot fewer emails and less confusion) moving forward.
Tune In: Brad Read, Executive Director of Sail Newport, will join Ryan Belmore on What'sUpNewp Radio Edition on AM 1540 WADK at 1:15 pm today to discuss the race and to provide all with the latest on the Volvo Ocean Race Newport Stopover.
All the best,
~ Ryan
