Hello. Today is Wednesday, January 16th.

  • Save The Date: What’s Up Newp will be hosting our 4th Annual Newport Saint Patrick’s Day Celebration on Friday, March 15th. Featuring the AOH Men’s Singers, AOH Pipes & Drums, Sean Rivers Music, and more, Midtown Oyster Bar will be the place to be!
  • FYI: Newport City Hall office will be closed on Monday, January 21st in recognition of MLK Day. There will be a one-day delay on all trash and recycling next week.
  • Recycle: Start gathering your electronic waste…Indie Cycle will be at the Aquidneck Growers’ Market this Saturday. Drop off your e-waste at the market at Newport Vineyards between 9:00AM and 12:30PM and Indie Cycle will dispose of it responsibly for FREE!
  • Folk Yeah: Newport Folk Festival announced yesterday that Liz Cooper & The Stampede has joined their 2019 lineup.
