What's on Weibo
The past few months have been very busy at What’s on Weibo, as I’ve been traveling around for public speaking and various projects while also keeping the site up to date. The newsletter has, therefore, been lagging behind. If you do not want to miss out on our daily content, we recommend for you to opt-in to to our notifications via the website (available for Mozilla, Chrome, Firefox browsers & Android users), so that you’ll be notified about new articles. We also post daily content on the What’s on Weibo Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. If you’re happy with receiving more occasional or (bi)weekly updates with an oversight of what’s been happening, the newsletter will still be sent out! So stay tuned!

Another topic that has been very hot recently, is the growing popularity of China’s esports. The recent victory of Chinese esports team Invictus Gaming led to a true craze among China’s post-90s, and indirectly even led to the most popular Weibo post ever!
This year marks the 60th anniversary of Chinese TV dramas. Reason enough for us to compile a Top 30 list of the best Chinese series of the past decades - must-know classics!
For that and more, please see an oversight below of most-read recent articles.
