Hey there,
Independent journalism is under threat, once again. How come?
Well, in late December 2021, we, Solomon and Reporters United, two independent Greek journalism platforms, received a pre-litigation legal threat from Hopeten NGO after we emailed questions seeking comment on a story we were researching regarding the NGO.

1/ The @MediaFreedomEU has issued an alert on the pre-litigation legal threat that we received together with @reporters_gr from NGO #Hopeten, after we emailed questions seeking comment on a public-interest story we were researching for over a year.

Our Laureates @we_are_solomon and @reporters_gr have received a legal threat by an NGO after they asked questions for an investigation they are working on.

We stand with them and hope what is happening will not hinder their public interest journalism.
