I’m excited to share with you a preview of what’s next with Wakeout. We’ve done a lot of research, interviewed many of our customers and have taken the time to design something that we’re hoping will improve lives.

⛰ Wakeout's Mission
Being physically active is one of the best things you can do to your body, mind and long-term wellbeing. 
A Wakeout is an “accessible” exercise, meaning, it’s designed for all fitness levels and can be done anywhere, at anytime, without having to put on gym clothes. Our mission is to give everyone access to exercises they feel comfortable doing anywhere, and be a helping hand to those that lack motivation to be active.
💪 150 active minutes per week
The American Heart Association recommends 150 active minutes per week, which comes down to about 20 minutes per day. This doesn’t sound like much, but almost half of the US population isn’t getting there. 
We think we can help by dividing those 20 minutes into easily consumable chunks spread conveniently through the day.
Introducing "Active Day" - Have fun reaching your daily activity requirements
Active Day is a new Wakeout feature that will ping you at the most convenient times of your day to incentivize you do take a break to be active for a few minutes. Not only is taking a few breaks healthy, increases productivity and helps prevent burnout, it will get you to accomplish your daily activity requirements. 
With each Wakeout completed, you fill up the circle. Next thing you know, the circle is full and you’ve reached your activity goals (or more) without realizing it.
The right Wakeout at the right time
Part of being motivating is to offer up the right exercise that fits your current circumstance. We’re working on intelligent systems that surfaces the right exercise that you’re most likely to accept. 
We start your day with exercises you do in bed or on the couch to energize you. Mid-morning and afternoon you might get Wakeouts that you can do right at your desk, or a Wakeout designed to reduce stress. At the end of the day, we ping you with Wakeouts that will help you melt away stress and unwind.
Make a daily commitment...
We help you strengthen your pledge to being active with a daily commitment. The daily commitment is to reinforce the fact that being active is a daily choice, and that habits are only formed through deliberate action, one day at a time.
...or take the day off
If today you’re just not feeling it, that’s ok. You can reschedule your active day to the next day, or the start of next week. It’s important that you feel encouraged, not obligated to be active.
What's makes a coach, good?
A good coach challenges you, but understands your limits. A good coach keeps you motivated by designing programs that suit your needs. And last but not least, a good coach gets you results, celebrates your wins and doesn’t focus on the misses.
That’s what we want Wakeout to be for you, a companion that empowers you to be more active.
