“Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS”. It’s the one Google Page Speed Insights suggestion that I always get stuck with.
There are many things we can do to minimize render-blocking JavaScript — code splitting, tree shaking, caching, etc, and these tasks can all be done automatically with Webpack.
But what about minimizing render-blocking CSS? Is this something we can delegate to Webpack as well? (Spoiler: yes). In my article for this week, I’ll show you how.
