Juicy Concepts
Creativity is like breathing.
Creativity is like breathing.
We take in information and emit new ideas.
🤯this is one of the coolest depictions I’ve seen of creativity. More awesome animations / expansion of this in this article.
Juicy Concept: Some ideas can be so creative, the fact that they solve a particular problem becomes hard to recognize.
Example: telecommuting and video-conferencing do more to “solve” the problem of fossil-fuel dependence than many alternative energy technologies, but are usually understood as technologies for flex-work rather than energy savings.
2 weeks ago I read this article by Sam Altman on how to be successful. I thought it compressed several fundamental ideas well, but forgot to link it here. Wasn’t planning on linking because I thought most people also in the startup world would have already read it by now — but of course not everyone is in the startup world.
Tempting Question
Last week’s experiment was fun. Doing it again: reply with your answer and I’ll send you the compiled answers of everyone else that replied.
What is an unconventional activity you enjoy doing?
(doesn’t need to be extremely unconventional)
