Hello. Did you miss me?
Don’t actually answer that. Regardless, I’m back with a couple of announcements.
I’m making a couple of changes to this newsletter. Balancing work, life and writing on a regular basis is harder than I thought, certainly harder than all those influencers and content creators made it out to be.
After eighteen months of running this newsletter as a weekly (ok, semi-regularly as a weekly) I’m cutting back the sends to once a month. This is October’s newsletter.
This is an easier schedule to sign-up to and is one I can actually stick to.
Secondly, I’m excited to say that from this issue onwards the newsletter has a new home. I’m partnering with the good folks at the UX Writer’s Collective to continue publishing this newsletter under the UXWC brand.
Disclaimer: I helped write part of their first ‘Fundamentals’ course at the end of 2018 and I’m a huge admirer of the work they are doing to educate people about UX Writing.
So what’s changing? One main thing, if you would like to carry on receiving this email beyond the end of the year you’ll need to sign up to a new email list.
What happens if I don’t do anything? Nothing immediately. I won’t shut down this list for a couple of months. You will still receive the November and December issues of this newsletter but I will then be archiving this list in the New Year.
If you would like to carry on receiving job listings beyond the end of the year I’ll include a couple more reminders about the switchover.
If not, it’s been fun. Take care.
Onwards.
