Just jobs this week. It turns out looking for a new job is a full-time job, who knew?
So this week is purposefully short. Take care and enjoy the last days of summer. The next two weeks will be light as I’m off to Greece next weekend for a week of lying in the sun like a seal (tough, I know).
And a quick aside, if you work in learning & development or edtech, I’ve started another (more informal) newsletter to track interesting things I find in the industry. Sign up here.

I’ve spent the last week trimming the people I follow on Twitter using Tokimeki and it’s made the platform so much more useful. Highly recommended!
The Millions has a good piece up on how to capitalise headlines, more for the journalism crowd but useful for UX Writers too.
And here’s your yearly reminder to bookmark the W3 guidelines on how to write for accessibility.

North America Jobs
Spotify are on the hunt for a Senior UX Writer, Ad Experience in New York. You’ll have 5+ years of experience for this one and an online portfolio is required. So don’t mail them a 10-page print out of cool things you found online.
Kabbage are after a UX Writer in New York. The company are “blazing a trail” in FinTech. I don’t know about you but I like my money to remain free of fire. Each to their own, I guess.
Nuance are hiring for a Senior Chatbot Conversational Designer in Mahwah, New Jersey. This looks like a re-formatted ‘Content Designer’ listing. I can tell because they use the term 'Content Designer’ in the second paragraph. I’m smart like that.
Opendoor are looking for a UX Writer in San Francisco. You’ll have 7+ years of experience for this one.
Bird want a UX Writer in Santa Monica. You’ll have 4+ years of experience for this one. I presume the company got their name from The Wire character.
Huge are after a Freelance Copywriter, UX in Chicago. 4+ years of experience for this one.
Europe Jobs
Deliveroo would like a Senior UX Writer to join them in London. I like how they stipulate why this role wouldn’t be right for someone. Including if you “specialise in snappy ad lines and marketing style copy or you’re a social media wordsmith – this is purely a product writing role.” Right on.
TransferWise are after a UX Writer in London. 3+ years of experience here, although they’d like to hear from you even if you don’t match all the qualifications they list.
Magic Lab are looking for a UX Writer in London. You’ll be working across their Bumble and Chappy apps.
Dailymotion want a UX Writer in Paris. You’ll have a minimum of 4 years’ experience and basic knowledge of design tools used by designers (Sketch, Abstract, Invision etc.).
Amazon are hiring for a UX Writer in Berlin. You’ll be working on AWS and need 3 years of experience.
APAC Jobs
Atlassian want a Content Designer in Sydney. This isn’t a straight-forward UX Writing role (although that is a part of it) as you’ll be working with design, PM, marketing, and developer teams to understand customer insights, the purpose of features, and how best to explain them to the right audience.
Spark want a Content Designer in Auckland. This is a six month contract with the possibility to extend to nine or twelve. You’ll need a basic knowledge of HTML and CSS for this one.
Deliveroo are on a hiring spree, they also want a Content Designer in Singapore.
Zeta Mainforest are after a UX Writer in Bangalore. You’ll need 3-5 years of experience for this one.
