Facebook: Zuckerberg's Testimony Pt. 2
It’s day 2 of Mark Zuckerberg’s testimony and so far, he’s had a tougher time than yesterday, although that’s not saying much. This comes in as news of a new bill has been announced to restrict the level of data that online giants like Facebook can collect. The bill is called the CONSENT Act (Customer Online Notification for Stopping Edge-provider Network Transgressions) - a name that rolls right off the tongue…

Memewatch: Of Course Zuckerberg's Testimony Was Going To Become A Meme
It was inevitable that Mark Zuckerberg’s slightly awkward mannerisms would become a meme this week. So let’s get to it! Some have likened his robot-like gestures to a certain android (whose name makes the comparison even more relevant). However, our favourites are the ones poking fun at the clueless Senators and Facebook photo tagging.
"Mark, you've got to use your hands when you talk. Otherwise, you just look like a robot."

Skype: A Podcaster's Dream Come True
For you podcasters and radio hosts who love to use Skype: you can now record the call without using a 3rd party program. Well, by now, we mean in the summer. Some 3rd party recording apps might not be happy about Skype bringing this feature in-house though.

Marketing: Epic Westworld Troll
Look, we’re not even mad. This is incredible. In what was an attempt to preempt spoilers, the creators of the show, Westworld decided to tell Reddit that they’d release a spoiler video for the new season. After an ominous start, the video turns out to be nothing but an elaborate Rickroll. Now, we must clarify here that we DO classify Rickrolling as a retired meme (thanks to this horrific jump-the-shark moment) but even so, this was so hyped up and unexpected that we’ll allow it.
No thanks. You've tricked us enough.
