Netflix's Next Big Movie Is Inspired By A Viral Photo On Twitter
Netflix’s latest project’s inspiration comes from an unlikely place, Twitter. A photo of Rhianna and Lupita Nyong’o at a fashion show back in 2014 has been making the rounds on the internet for years with fans creating outrageous backstories & begging someone to make a film inspired by these two badass ladies. Back in April twitter users even got the actresses themselves & director Ava DuVernay to confirm their interest in the project. Last week at Cannes Film Festival the news broke that Netflix has now picked up the project and hopes to make Twitter’s dream a reality. The Verge
