Net Neutrality: Resurrection?
As we’ve previously mentioned, there’s a small chance that the repeal of Net Neutrality could be reversed through the Congressional Review Act. We live-tweeted yesterday as we found out that that the Senate voted to reverse the repeal. But, as we also stated, this is a small victory. The vote will now have to go to the House and then to POTUS Trump to sign. Those are no small tasks.

Social: The Vatican Is Having Nun Of It
The Vatican has warned nuns to not overindulge on social media because it’s filled with “noises, news, and words.” We’ve read the document published by the Vatican’s Office and we’d rather not link it. Something about giving traffic to publications written by old white dudes telling women how to communicate doesn’t sit right with us. They should nun for the hills while they have a chance. We wonder what the nun-ishment would be?
Facebook: Topics To Watch
Facebook has released its latest “Topics to Watch” trend report. The top topics range from health and beauty products to food (obviously) and travel. We won’t spoil them for you so check ‘em out!
Keep on top of those trends, peeps!
Memewatch: Yanny & Laurel Update
As with all things, memes must also come to an end. We’ve talked about the life-cycle of memes before. It seems that Yanny vs Laurel is entering something of a backlash phase. This meme seems to be impacted by audience fatigue, due to the fact that The Dress was literally everywhere, previously. Plus, memes intended to divide public opinion suffer from a 3rd contrarian crowd, hoping to separate themselves from packs A & B.
It'll hit TV news and it's doubtful that it'll recover from there. NEXT MEME!
