People On Twitter Have A Lot Of Thoughts About Jame Comey's Testimony
In case you missed it, former head of the FBI, Jame Comey, testified today in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee about Trump & Russia and people on Twitter have been having a lot of feelings about the whole thing. Comey’s opening statement was released yesterday and people took to Twitter to figure out what “that thing” he mentioned is, which somehow turned into people quoting a classic Lauryn Hill song. For more amazing tweets from the hearing this morning you can check out this BuzzFeed compilation.

Netflix Accidentally Makes The Babadook A Gay Icon
June is Pride Month and in honour of that Netflix has been promoting its collection of LGBT films, but this year they seem to have added one movie to that category by mistake. The Australian horror movie, The Babadook (which has no LGBT themes in it), was found by users browsing the LGBT category and now people can’t get enough of the idea that the Babadook is this month’s gay icon. The One Big Reason BuzzFeed Needs To Break Into TV
Traditional TV is changing at a rapid pace and now might be the perfect time for companies like BuzzFeed to jump on the television bandwagon. Last year alone, Hollywood released 455 original scripted television shows, more than any year previous, and it does not seem to be slowing down any time soon. BuzzFeed’s current Hollywood operation produces 600 pieces of content, including videos and illustrations, per day so making the jump wouldn’t be out of the blue. The web is like the world’s largest focus group and only the most catchy, resilient, and appealing ideas will rise to the top of BuzzFeed’s mountain of content. Apple Uses Carl Sagan And Beautiful Images To Rebuke Trump's Climate Policy
There has been a lot of backlash from American tech companies in the wake of Trump’s decision to pull out of the Paris Accord and Apple has made a new commercial about their stance on this issue. The new iPhone ad aired last night during the NBA Finals and features a voice over of Carl Sagan reading an excerpt from his 1994 book Pale Blue Dot. Well put Apple. Fast Company
