Facebook To Unfriend Publishers
Speaking anonymously to Digiday’s Confessions series, an audience development head confirms that Facebook has revealed plans to completely deprioritize publishers in the near future. Although the source states that this may take place in 2018, there’s no definitive date given. So, we know it’s coming… it’s just a matter of exactly ’when.’

Delay Causes Ryanair Passenger To 'Wing-It'
In today’s ‘that guy is my hero’ news, a disgruntled passenger used an emergency exit to climb out onto the wing of a delayed aircraft. Thirty minutes after the plane landed in Spain, witnesses described how the man “very calmly asked permission to get past, opened the emergency exit, looked out, saw the wing, went back for his backpack.” While he won’t be getting fined for his actions, the man does remind us of our favourite Twilight Zone episode.

The CEO has vowed to protect against “abuse and hate,” and “interference by nation states.” Zuckerberg is no stranger to setting challenges at the start of each year (such as learning Mandarin or wearing a tie every day) but this challenge is a lot harder than learning to tie a Half Windsor Knot.

Drama: Tay-Tay Can't Seem To 'Shake It Off'
Oh Taylor Swift, how we love hearing about how your lawsuits are getting deep and philosophical about the use of the words “playas” and “haters”… wait, what? Fending off a lawsuit alleging that her 2014 song stole its most famous lines, her lawyer has attempted to delve into semantics regarding the philosophical meanings of the words “playas” and “haters”… seriously.
