Snapchat Hot Dog Now In 4K!
Yes, the leaks were right. At today’s Apple Event, Tim Cook introduced three new iPhones: the iPhone 8/8 Plus, and the iPhone X (pronounced “TEN”). Get ready to up your Instagram and Snapchat game with a better camera, Face ID, and a “Super Retina” display. Our favourite new feature? Animojis – animated emojis with face-matching technology. That means you can talk to your family and friends as the smiling poop emoji (Hunter’s dreams have come true). What else could you want? Tell us how you feel on Twitter.
Yeah we are so ready for this.

A Downpour Of New Threads
Are Twitter threads being codified into the platform? We certainly hope so! One of our favourite new-ish things to do is to read through really smart “Tweetstorms” (threaded tweets that make a longer post), of which there are many. It has been revealed by Recode that Twitter has created an in-app method of drafting these Tweetstorms, now we’re just waiting for it to go live!
We apologize in advance, because all of our tweets are going to be tweetstorms after this.

The Twitter Void Of Existential Thought

The Meme World Remembers
On September 11th 2009, when Michael Jordan was inducted into basketball’s Hall of Fame, he delivered an infamous, often-rambling, very emotional speech. An image of his face — eyes swimming, cheeks glistening — was turned into a meme some years later. The Internet, especially Twitter users, latched on tight, employing it to comment on any number of sports failures. Read the full evolution of the Michael Jordan meme on NPR.
This meme even has apps devoted to adding a crying Michael Jordan to things!

Scream Like Goku Around The World!
Anime fans are getting together to pay homage to their favourite shows and characters by creating Facebook events like “Scream like Goku at….”, and the results are hilarious. First there were videos of university and high school kids running like Naruto through their hallways and school campuses. Then came this video from Washington Square Park that topped them all. Read all about this random new trend on Mashable.
It's a good thing no one can actually scream like Goku, for safety reasons.
