State Of The 'Uniom' Memes
Well, we might as well get this out of the way first. Twitter tyrant, Donald Trump, gave his first State of the Union address yesterday and the memes are rolling out in full force. Everything from Darth Vader comparisons to a grumpy Bernie Sanders clapping has many laughing on Twitter. To be fair, it was never going to end well if the invitations spelled the word “union” wrong.
We're more concerned with the strange clapping technique from the guy behind him.

Twitter Sweeps Publishers From Facebook
Twitter is attempting to sweep publishers away from Facebook by closing the gap in publisher clicks. This comes after the news that Facebook will deprioritize publisher content in favour of content from user’s friends and family. Facebook is still in the lead with 2.5 visitors per publisher post, compared to every 1 Twitter visitor. But for how long will Facebook stay in front?
Gotta go fast, Facebook.

Blue Blood Moon Bummer
With all this talk of NASA live streaming a rare “Super Blue Blood Moon Eclipse” you’d expect a magical, natural phenomenon to be heading our way. Not quite, as most people were left disappointed. What happens when internet users are left disappointed? Lunar memes, of course, and lots of them. After all this hype, we think that NASA should Apollo-gise. (Our space puns are out of this world.)
Well, how would YOU like it if 7 billion people called you disappointing?

Salt Bae A-Salted By Department of Health
Ahh, Salt Bae. 2017’s hottest meme. What’s he been up to, you ask? Well, other than stroking steaks and being suave, he opened up a New York restaurant. It looks like he’s done well for himself. Wait - what’s that? You mean you can’t just go around without a hairnet, touching meat with your bare hands? Well, imagine that! It looks like the internet’s favourite chef is about to have a meat-ing with the U.S. Department of Health. This on top of the negative reviews might mean that Salt Bae’s days as internet darling are over.

January Blues Leak Online
As January draws to a close, many have come to the realization that it had 5 Mondays in it. Now the internet is losing its mind. We’re not sure if it’s the post-Christmas slump or the fact that there’s FIVE. MONDAYS. THIS. JANUARY. Mondays are the worst. Not for us obviously- we love what we do. 😉
Imagine this, but 5 times in a row. That's January 2018.
