Truly Social & PWL Capital Launch: “Common Sense Investing” With Ben Felix
Today marks a very special launch of yet another ‘Edutaining’ YouTube series by our client PWL Capital. The Common Sense Investing YouTube Series is hosted by Ben Felix, Associate Portfolio Manager at PWL, and is as straight-forward as the name says it is. Ben’s series is committed to offering transparency where the financial industry would have you believe otherwise, tackling down on the financial misconceptions and poor advice caused by an incentive commission for the advisor, leaving Canadian investors feeling doubtful. Pemberton Music Festival Has Been Cancelled

The festival was being extensively promoted on social media since the end of their 2016 event up until two days ago when the news broke that the festival had declared bankruptcy. The Pemberton team quickly pulled down their social media accounts and only released a third party statement on their website about the bankruptcy. Tickets had already been on sale for months and ticket holders are now being left wondering if they will get their money back. Note: how not to handle things on social media Global News
Bonus: Ontario’s WayHome Festival is giving out free tickets to anyone who purchased tickets to either Fyre Festival or Pemberton, talk about great press! DailyHive
Maybe hold off buying any more festival tickets until 2018...
