Millennials Prefer Communicating Through GIFs & Emojis 📢
In a survey by Gif platform Tenor and Harris Poll, 36% of ‘millennials’ aged 18-34 who use emojis or gifs believe these graphic representations can express their thoughts better than words. We have known for years that society in general was developing a fondness for visual information, but we at Truly Social pretty much agree that the full spectrum of human experience can be broken into Toddlers and Tiaras gifs (BuzzFeed, where is this article?). Amazon Wants To Win The Battle For Your Closet
Amazon Prime members will soon be allowed to return up to 15 clothes items purchased from Amazon (who, for the record has more than a million options on their marketplace), for up to 7 days before returning them. Amazon Prime Wardrobe is currently in an invitation only beta but it is already intriguing users who are fed up with traditional retailers and their basic return options. This new program should give Amazon a serious edge over the competition in the battle for our closets. TechCrunch

Beloved Canadian franchises have been debuting some truly phenomenal branded efforts to celebrate Canada as it approaches its 150th birthday, with special promotions, branded packaging and limited availability items. Tim Horton has announced that one of its offering will be a poutine doughnut, that has people online both confused and hungry. Bonus: Truly Social buddy Brittlestar released a hilarious video in defence of some iconic Canadian symbols, and also fried chicken.

Elon Musk Loves...Floors?
Seems Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, was having quite the birthday celebration as he posted this golden nugget on his twitter account last night. The thread continues on to some truly amazing memes from his fans, but his defence of his favourite surface in the face of debate is truly hilarious. We wonder, how does a multi billionaire and madcap inventor celebrate a birthday? We just hope he spent a little less time on the floor than he did talking about them on his twitter. Metro UK
