Memewatch: A Post-Meme Society?
We’re seeing more and more abstract memes these days. These memes typically rely on a meta-awareness of older memes or are just random things being ironically forced. For example, “deep frying” of memes for dramatic effect. Right now, we’re seeing Discord users trying to ironically force a concrete slab as a meme. There’s also some weird mashup going down with Lord Farquaad (from Shrek) and the YouTuber, Markiplier… So, yeah…

Uber: Call 911!
Uber has finally added in-app 911 assistance. This is great news in terms of rider safety (particularly for female passengers). But we can’t help but think that better background checks for drivers would also limit the amount of danger that passengers face when riding alone.
Just make sure that your driver doesn't need to call the cops on you.

The evidence is showing that Pinterest is growing faster than Twitter and Snapchat! With 90% of weekly pinners using the app to make purchasing decisions, it seems that there’s a goldmine of consumers out there, too!
