Could Facebook be doing any worse right now? Buzzfeed News reports that in a 2016 memo
sent out to employees, Facebook VP Andrew Bosworth
defends data collection
from private corporations. He claims that the work the company does to connect people justifies all the means of their growth. One particular section states, “So we connect more people. That can be bad if they make it negative. Maybe it costs a life by exposing someone to bullies.” Yikes. Not all of the employees are fans of Bosworth’s words, and to be honest, neither are we.
