Katy Perry’s new music video “Bon Appétit” has officially broken the record for the most YouTube views in 24 hours, besting her own video “Roar” for the title. The video registered 16.8 million views in its first day live and has already gained over 70 million views in its first ten days! Facebook & Instagram Really Want You To Keep Watching Videos
Both Facebook and Instagram are rolling out new features today focused on their live video offerings. 
Facebook’s two new features include Live Chat With Friends, where users can create private chat rooms during live streams, and Live With, where users can invite their friends into their own live streams. Mashable 
Instagram is taking a different approach to its stories starting today with the launch of location stories & hashtag stories. Users will now be able to geotag their stories using the location stickers and then see those stories pop up under that location’s featured story. For hashtag stories users will be able to create hashtag stickers and then watch stories about those hashtags. Mashable
