Real-Life Iron Man Flies Around San Diego Comic Con
Iron Man is real! Inventor Richard Browning showed off his Marvel-inspired super suit at Thursday’s San Diego Comic Con, by flying above the pavement outside the show. This takes cosplay to a new level, as Browning’s invention uses jet power to allow him to fly through the air, in a way that is reminiscent of Iron Man, though his costume’s colouring does not match the superhero’s. News Sources Forgotten Through Social Sharing
In the age of the ever-present stream of media content shared through Facebook and Twitter, it comes as no surprise when Neiman Lab discovered that when consuming news through social media or search, readers rarely remember what the source was at all. Will this put fear in the hearts of established publishers, as they see Buzzfeed or Gossip magazines outranking them in shares and story recognition? Absolutely, as the lack of recognition of news sources by those consuming content will only give smaller organizations with share-ability more leverage over time. Neiman Lab.

Among the physical possibilities, users have drawn a sad parallel to the Toronto Harbour Duck that was deflated following Canada 150 celebrations. Twitter.

Your Guide to Workplace Emoticon Use
Microsoft has teamed up with YouGov to survey millennials in the workplace, and discover best practises for emoticons or emojis when talking with coworkers. It was discovered that positive messages with emoticons made millennials feel proud and connected best with their peers, but when in conversation with their boss or clients emoticons were deemed inappropriate. Any love symbols like hearts, kiss, heart eyes etc made millennials feel uncomfortable. We wonder what the results would have been if Gen Xers were included in the survey. Skype Blog.
