Twitter Boycott Exposes Race Issues
#WomenBoycottTwitter is trending, in protest of the platform’s banning of Rose McGowan yesterday, when she tweeted a private phone number while sharing pivotal information about serial sexual predator Harvey Weinstein. Simultaneously, many on the #IStandWithJemele tag have called out boycott participants for not supporting Jemele Hill, who was suspended from ESPN for comments on NFL protests this week. Kelly Ellis who organized the boycott, recognized this issue, bringing it all down to bad timing rather than lack of solidarity with both groups.

Amazon Spark Flops Pretty Spectacularly
When Amazon announced an influencer program just a few months ago, influencers were thrilled to get the chance to work with one of the world’s largest e-commerce brands. Unfortunately, one influencer has confessed the program hasn’t lived up to the hype.
Sorry Amazon, it looks like you just weren't ready for that.

LinkedIn Is Better Late Than Never
LinkedIn has added auto-play video advertising to their roster of sponsored offerings. Due to the great success of video as a feature available to everyday users, the Microsoft-owned social media company is finally selling videos to keep up with their competitors, even if they were already late to the video game.
