The Grid Goes Up
The Grid has ruled Instagram for years as the means by which you can visually plan your content to neatly display in colour and theme coordinated rows. Apps like VSCO have long allowed careful planning of your grid, however, that might be all for naught. Instagram may be changing their grids from columns of three wide, to four. We are prepared for meltdowns to explode all over the world any minute now.

Chocolate Targets Hunger
Snickers has long wielded themselves as the solution to ‘hanger’ (hunger and anger). They even created an algorithm that targeted the angriest people online, and gave them a coupon which drove the price of Snickers down or up depending on the algorithms evaluation of mood. The highly advanced campaign was created in combination with digital marketing and algorithm experts at MIT and Google, who of course called it a “Hungerithm”

A Twitter Fight For The Books
The trending #askacurator tag was supposed to drive engagement with some of the world’s most highly coveted archival positions. Instead it was highjacked by a twitter war between the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum London that will go down in history.
