Like in a classic Western; Facebook, Youtube, and Publishers are having a three-way standoff. It all started when Facebook exec, Campbell Brown stated that publishers should “leave” if they don’t agree with their new decision to deprioritize them. Our very own Tara has talked about the dangers of over-dependence on Facebook. Meanwhile, Facebook’s increasing ambitions on the video front have prompted YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki to tell Facebook to “get back to baby pictures and sharing.” *Cue The Good, The Bad and The Ugly Theme song*
