Facebook: 200 More Apps Suspended
Facebook has suspended around 200 more apps on its platform as part of an investigation into data misuse following the Cambridge Analyta scandal. This comes in just as another analysis finds that many of the Russian Facebook ads we discussed before sought to divide users on race.

To be honest, we’ve shied away from talking about memes about Childish Gambino’s “This Is America.” After all, one of the main things that the video tries to highlight is our tendency to sweep social issues under the pop culture rug. However, this Mashable article hits the nail on the head perfectly: “We’re all talking about it and we’re all engaging with what it’s saying. This is America, memes and all.”

LinkedIn: Playing Match-Maker
LinkedIn is adding a “How You Match” feature which will allow job-seekers to see how well a role lines up with their criteria and skillset. They’re also adding a 1-click apply function for people who obviously don’t want to get the job they’re applying for. Come on, people! Personalize those applications.
