The Whole Foods 🧀 Map Stinks:
The foodie community is in “disa-brie-ment” over the new Whole Foods cheese maps seen in Detroit and Washington. The signs incorrectly identified French regions on the map, and Twitter users tore their prestigious cheese dealer to shreds for it.

Disney Brings Out The Big Guns
Maybe we spoke too soon on being all “meh” about the Disney streaming service. According to reports, it’s not just Disney titles that will be part of their offering. Marvel and Star Wars titles will also be exclusively on the Disney platform. If you know anything about TSI, you know that we are HUGE Marvel and Star Wars fans…so…I guess we’re buying! 
There goes Christian's Netflix subscription... he'll only be using Disney from now on.

Building The Perfect Influencer
Google and Microsoft seem to be of the same mind today, as they both are showing signs of development towards identifying online influencers. Google applied for a patent that focused on identifying, pinpointing and rewarding online experts or trendsetters, while Microsoft applied for a patent that would score and classify experts in their field based on their online activity. We wonder how this will refine the now ubiquitous term of ‘influencer.’

Equifax Leak Barely Dammed
The American personal and corporate credit reporting and data security group Equifax revealed yesterday that there had a big data leak, and 143 million customers could have had their entire identities exposed. This includes mostly American consumers, though some Canadian and British identities could be affected. The worrisome fact is that the leak was identified on July 29th, and could have included information from social security numbers to credit card details. Read more on Tech Crunch.

The Future Of Stories
Let’s be honest, very few people were/are using Facebook Stories. The Instagram-owner decided to take advantage of its more popular offering, and allow users to post Instagram Stories to Facebook - which is cross-posting gold. For now, the feature seems to be only available in select countries, but we are sooo excited to test this one out ourselves.  Read more on Business Insider.
