Normally, when we hear the term “Reddit Detective”, it’s rarely used in a complimentary way. However, that term is 100% accurate in this example. A 17-year-old suicide cold case was solved when the subreddit dedicated to the mystery contacted the DNA Doe Project. They were able to identify the body and alert his family and bring them some much-needed closure.
