Twitter Founder Takes On The Newsfeed
Are the rewards systems built into social media rewarding the wrong kind of behaviour? Founder of Twitter and Medium, Evan Williams spoke up yesterday, saying that it is “reinforcing dangerous beliefs and isolating people and limiting people’s open-mindedness and respect for truth,” to reward click-bait, fake news, and the attention-seeking activities that run rampant in our newsfeeds. Information and interactions that lack substance create a feedback loop of misinformation based on whoever gets the most amount of likes, comments, shares etc wins. The celebrity of influence, and money being on the line for these clicks, has made attention our most valuable commodity, and for all the wrong reasons. So if you can’t find real and truthful interactions online, where can you find it?

Though Germans go to the polls September 24th, this proves to be a disturbing new trend in cyber security.

BK Goes The Extra Mile In Brussels
Build it, and they will come….or you could bring them there. Burger King hired a city-wide bus line to bring customers to the one BK in Brussels. After the publicity stunt that asked customers to choose between Burger King and the actual King of Brussels landed BK in hot water, they had to go the extra mile to get back their Belgian customers.
Too bad it seems like the Belgian royalty won't be on the bus anytime soon.

Bitmojis have been the favourite sticker of many Snapchat users for a long time, and now they can have animated Bitmojis in their Snaps too!
