Eagles Fan Tackled By Pole Becomes Internet Hero
Let’s start with some uplifting meme news. An overexcited Philadelphia Eagles fan has become an internet sensation after successfully colliding with a pillar in a subway station. The fan (real name, Jigar Desai) spoke out, adding that he saw a train full of Eagles fans before the game and became “excited” and that’s where “the pole made a great tackle.” His enthusiasm coupled with the fact that he wasn’t seriously hurt has won over the internet. Keep on runnin’, Eagles fan.
He's in POLE position to become an internet star.

Facebook To Invest A Further €10 Million Into A.I.
In what may be an attempt to re-connect with his own kind, Mark Zuckerberg has announced plans to invest a further €10 million into its A.I. centre in Paris. The money will go towards doubling the number of researchers, adding more Ph.D. candidates, and donating towards France’s Open Data Initiative. Well, we all know how ‘open’ Facebook’s data policy is.
No! Not that kind of 'Open Data.'

Robot Designed To Help Customers Gets Fired For Scaring Them
More meme news! Have you ever had that one friend who tried just a bit too hard and ended up freaking people out? Meet Fabio, the robot. Created by Heriot-Watt University in Scotland, the robot was given a trial run in a supermarket. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite work out. It turns out that creeping up on people in the sausage aisle is NOT a good idea and he was soon ‘fired.’ Naturally, the internet leapt to little Fabio’s defence. Because that’s just how things work here.

Snapchat's New Web Player Allows Stories To Be Shared Outside App
A new ‘share’ function in the 'discovery’ section of Snapchat’s terrible, terrible redesign will allow users to share their stories via text, email, or even a web browser. Now, before you go texting your snaps to your friends, take note that this feature will only work for the 'Official’, 'Our’, and 'Search’ Stories. So, don’t get ahead of yourselves.

CEO Of Largest Technology Company In The World Says Technology Might Be Bad
In a speech aimed at school children, Apple CEO, Tim Cook said that he wouldn’t let his nephew use social media. Strangely, for a man who runs one of the biggest tech companies in the world, he also had the following to say: “I’m not a person that says we’ve achieved success if you’re using technology all the time.” You know what, Tim? We actually kind of agree. But it’s just weird hearing it from you. This is like Ronald McDonald saying that hamburgers are bad.
Life was never the same again for Ronald. Don't make the same mistake, Tim.
