Gangnam Style Has Quietly Been Overtaken As The Most Viewed Video On YouTube
Psy’s “Gangnam Style” from 2012 has held the title of the most viewed video on Youtube, with 2.894 billion views, for the past 5 years, but it has finally been unseated by Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth’s “See You Again” music video from the Fast & Furious 7 soundtrack, which has climbed to 2.897 billion views. Don’t expect Wiz and Charlie to stay on top too long though as Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito” is already at 2.489 billion views despite only being uploaded this past January. After such a long run Gangnam Style will certainly continue to live on in the legendary roster of dance songs alongside hits like the YMCA, the Macarena and Cotton Eye Joe. Mashable

Social Media Giant Plans To Build A Social Village
Facebook’s latest project in the San Fransisco Bay Area of Menlo Park, hopes to help address the lack of affordable housing in the region, as well as improving community resources. When Facebook announced that they would be moving their campus to Menlo Park back in 2011, the rent prices tripled to over 3k a month. Employees that don’t live in the area have had to fight traffic with the help of company shuttles but once this new housing project is complete (hopefully by 2021) it should take some pressure off neighbouring roads. Google and Apple are also trying to figure out how they too can help the housing situation in Silicon Valley. The Guardian

London Restaurant Brings In Instagram Foodie Kits So You Can Nail Your #Foodporn Shots
Dirty Bones restaurant in Soho, London has been designed with the Instagram universe in mind, and beyond making aesthetically pleasing dishes, they have decided to provide ‘Instagram foodie kits’ for its customers to use while dining. Included in the kit is a portable LED camera light, a multi-device charger, a clip-on wide angle camera lens, and a tripod selfie stick for overhead table shots. As people share what they’re eating through social media, it’s important for Dirty Bones to be shown in the best possible way to future customers, so why not provide them with the tools they need to do so. Doulingo Will Soon Be Providing Lessons In High Valyrian For Game Of Thrones Fans
Popular language learning app Doulingo has announced that you will soon be able to take lessons in High Valyrian, a fictional language from the world of Game of Thrones. The company has stated that the language has been in its ‘incubator’ for several months and should be ready to launch close to the season 7 premier of GoT. This project was a collaborative effort between Game Of Thrones’ language expert, David J Peterson, and Doulingo and the language itself is based off of a few key phrases from the show’s source material written by George RR Martin. So get ready for season 7 by finally being able to understand wtf Daenerys has been saying without the subtitles! The Verge

Snapchat's Hot Dog Filter Has Become The Latest Meme
Snapchat recently premiered a dancing hot dog filter and it has quickly become the hottest new meme. The little hot dog man can be used only on the rear view camera mode, where he dances, shuffles, and pulls breakdancing moves. Twitter users have managed to adapt it into almost every meme, including Fibonacci spirals, fidget spinners, Unrealistic Body Standards, and more, while others have taken a dark turn against this playful little hot dog. Hopefully with this kind of attention the hot dog filter could become a part of the permanent roster of filters! BuzzFeed
