Apple’s new App Tracking Transparency (ATT) feature gives consumers greater control over how their personal data is tracked, but companies like Facebook are trying to convince consumers to turn it off to preserve ad revenue.
If you’re thinking, “Wait, didn’t we just have an urgent update from Apple?” - yes we did, and this is another one that you should install right away.
The software in question is Dell’s own system driver (the BIOS update driver, for those who like tech details). Consumers and businesses alike should check the Dell support site to see if your PC is on the list. Alienware PCs (owned by Dell) are also affected.
