Apple’s iCloud Mail went down Monday morning, following a similar outage of iCloud Keychain the previous Saturday.
This potentially serious security flaw can bypass the Mac’s built-in antivirus protections, so be sure to update. It’s a great example of why Mac users need strong third-party antivirus, and why everyone should think twice before clicking on unknown links and attachments.
Good news for frustrated Windows users: Microsoft has finally acknowledged this bug, and is developing a fix that will be available later this year.
