F*ck ups, masturbation and pay negotiation. Not your average womxn in tech event.

You may have noticed that you didn’t receive an email from us in August, and that’s because we took a summer vacation! Granted we didn’t jet off anywhere fancy but we did take some time away from Triangirls to rest and get ready for the next series of events that we have planned.

🎟 Don’t be shy!
We’re really excited to be working with Pollen to bring you September’s event. We know that self-promotion can make you cringe, especially in the workplace or when interviewing, so join us for a virtual workshop focusing on identifying your strengths and not being too shy to self promote!

🙌 What's been happening
🎤 Triangirls Talks
After the success of our first remote event, we hosted another one! Our events have recently taken on the format of inspirational lightning talks. At our last event we had a huge range of diverse speakers, ranging from 14 year old Adonai from #EssexSteamettes to the ever so wise and experienced Kish Modasia talking to us about mindfulness. We even had a Doctor speak! It was a truly special and great event so thank you to everyone who joined us!
If you’re interested in understanding the type of content we have during our lightning talks then take a look at Dr Naomi Gibson’s article on psychological safety in teams: https://medium.com/@DrNaomiGibson/psychological-safety-in-teams-77b652f8956
As lightning talks have been really popular we’d like to do more of these events while remote. We’ve really enjoyed meeting and coaching new members of the community so please get in touch if you’re interested in doing a talk, especially if it’s your first time speaking, as Triangirls is the perfect platform to test the waters. We’re a friendly and supportive community who have a passion for helping womxn grow.
You can simply send us an email: hello@triangirls.com or drop us a DM on twitter.
🤓 Jobs
If you’re looking for a new role, then we have a great selection of roles to share with you! If the role isn’t right for you to feel free to pass it on to someone else - after all sharing is caring!

So if you aren’t already please make sure you give these people a follow on social media or go to one of their events. They are like-minded communities who want to help womxn.
