Triangirls Newsletter - Issue #37

Happy International Women’s Month!
We were super proud to be able to give women the opportunity to share their stories and provide a safe space where we can ask each other the hard questions and talk about the challenges we face as a minority in tech. We’re also so pleased to announce that our event this month has now sold out, but please join the waitlist. Also if you can no longer make it please return your ticket so someone else can grab your space.

We’re really excited to be working with Beamery and Cleo to celebrate International Women’s Day 2022! Our tickets are now sold out, but make sure you join the waitlist!
The evening of March 31st will be a panel of speakers in leadership positions led by Katrina Dargel. This year’s IWD theme is #BreakTheBias, so we’ll be talking to our speakers about their careers, how they got there, and how they’ve encountered bias along the way.
Beamery is hosting at their lovely offices in Hoxton - and we promise there will be excellent drinks, snacks and swag.

International Women's Day
On the 8th of March was International Women’s Day. The theme this year was Breaking The Bias. We loved how @PayGapApp, challenged the bias by retweeting companies’ pay gap stats after they used the #IWD2022 hashtag.
IWD Graphy spotlight interview series
We also really loved seeing Graphy’s page around International Women’s Day which featured women within Graphy telling their stories. As well as stats and facts about the current imbalances within industries.
