What To Expect
This newsletter is going to be the place where I give my readers an inside view into my world, the challenges/struggles Iโ€™m facing, and how Iโ€™m trying to overcome these challenges so that I can achieve my goals.
In other words, if you want to gain insights into all the stuff I donโ€™t share anywhere else, this newsletter is that place.

So, with all that said, letโ€™s dive into this weekโ€™s edition by starting off with my top priority this week.
My Top Priority This Week
The activity that is taking the greatest amount of my time is learning how to create effective ad campaigns for my
Iโ€™ve never been one to use advertising much at all; however, now that Iโ€™m a SaaS founder, ignoring ads really isnโ€™t an option for me any more!
Becoming proficient with ads so that we can profitably (and predictably) scale Flowster is going to be a huge challenge for me and Iโ€™m sure Iโ€™m going to make plenty of mistakes.

Advertising Tips
If done correctly, advertising can provide a hugely valuable boost to most any company.
It can also be a huge f-ing waste of money if you donโ€™t know what the hell you are going and as of this writing, I would describe my skillset as a 4 out of 10.
In other words, Iโ€™m barely capable of doing much except waste money.
Soโ€ฆhow is a rookie like me going to get from idiot to superstar without breaking the bank?
One experiment at time ๐Ÿ’ช
Hereโ€™s a summary of the methodology that I used for my first 75 experiments:

The experiments you read out above were run over the last 2-3 weeks as I was working my way through a very expensive mastermind group I joined.
Since these experiments were run, I realized something very valuable.
The valuable thing Iโ€™m referring to is this: when you are running your first experiments, focus on ad copy that addresses pain points around the idea of making more money, increasing sales, etcโ€ฆ (getting something) vs cutting costs, increasing efficiency, etcโ€ฆ
Getting something (like increased revenue) is like chocolate. Saving something (like saving money through reduced expenses) is more like brocoliโ€ฆand chocolate sells far better than brocoli!
Be sure to keep that in mind when writing your ad copy in your initial tests.
